Dubai has launched **Al Layan Oasis**, a major **Dh4 billion desert tourism and nature project** that aims to attract around **330,000 visitors a year**. The destination spans about **10 million square feet** with a **central lake**, walking and cycling tracks, camping zones, play areas and trails for sports and outdoor fun. The site is located about **50 minutes from the city centre**, offering quiet desert views and family-friendly spaces. The project forms part of Dubai’s **Blue and Green Roadmap 2030**, which focuses on green spaces, wellbeing and supporting sustainable tourism. Four themed zones offer diverse experiences for residents and visitors.
